Thank you for visiting My American Bulldog site where you will not be disappointed! We are a small kennel in the High Desert. My dogs are either ABA or NKC registered. The back ground of my ABs' are Rattler of Sure Grip "Chance" from Homeward Bound, Freddie Krueger of S.G, Symmes' Rip 'n Woody, MGKs' Bam Bam, Boyd's Tomahawk Cleaver and Boyd's Hines Moleque just to name a few of the well known. The American Bulldog is an energetic, muscular, very athletic and very loyal. This breed is a very large dog for the most part. Males range from 22 - 28 in. tall and can weigh 70 - 120lbs. Females range from 20 - 26 in. tall and weigh 60 - 100lbs. If taken well care of they can live to be up to 16 yrs old. The average size litter is about 10 puppies. These dogs have a strong prey drive but can be easily called off by their Master. They are very good for agility and strength competition events. Very good with children and if introduced properly they will get along with other animals. So if you want a loyal, strong, very good guard dog and best friend this is the Breed for you!! |
